Anatomy & Physiology - L1/2/3, Conceptual Physics

 

Dr. Miller has been teaching biology and physics for 22 years.  This is his fourth year at Westwood High School.  He previously taught in Cambridge and Chicago.  He attended Washington University in St. Louis as an undergrad double majoring in biology and religious studies.  He went on to earn his M.A.T. from Dominican University and his Ed.D. from Boston University.  Dr. Miller is particularly interested in how students learn using mental models to help express their understandings.  He is working to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion into STEM curricula.  Originally from Chicago, Dr. Miller is an avid Cubs fan.  He enjoys music, skiing, hiking, and most of all, going on adventures with his kids.
